Unfiltered Story #244944

(My sister, at the time of this, is 9 months pregnant and past her due date. It’s also good to note she lives in Hawaii, so none of this can happen in person. Every day people ask her if she has the baby. Finally, she posts on Facebook:)

Sister: Update on the baby front: Still super pregnant. Getting induced Monday! Also: The next person who asks me if I’ve had the baby yet is getting a VERY sarcastic response. I promise, y’all will know if I’ve had her!

(Of course, our family flooded her comments with the question “have you had the baby yet?” To mess with her and her husband. But her response to mine is my favorite!)

Me: So, have the baby yet?

Sister: Yes, and you’re the dad!

Me: That’s why I’ve been putting on sympathy weight!

(My sister had the baby a week ago, a happy and healthy little girl. She texted me a picture two days ago:)

Sister: Surprise, I’m still pregnant.

Me: [Niece] has an undiscovered twin who’s not done cookin’.

Sister: Yea they left one in.

Me: “This one ain’t done yet”

Sister: They had s*** to do and couldn’t deliver to so they said f*** it
