Unfiltered Story #244551

(This story was told to me by my roommate. We’re both 20-something foreigners studying in Korea for a semester and both live in a student dormitory. She was hanging out outside, a bit away from campus, and talking on her phone when a delivery man approached her.)
Man: Hello!
Roommate: *puts her phone down* Hi.
Man: Where are you from?
Roommate: I’m from Russia.
Man: Oh, Russia? Where do you live?
Roommate: In a dormitory.
Man: Do you have a boyfriend?
Roommate: Yes, I do.
Man: Is he Korean?
Roommate: No, he’s not.
Man: Russian?
Roommate: No, he’s from Turkey.
Man: Ohhh, okay.
(With that, he leaves, and my roommate goes back to her phone to tell her friend about what just happened. She thought it’d be the end, but the man came back.)
Man: Hi again. *Sits down next to her, so close he’s touching her* So, how much for one night?
Roommate: *quickly getting up* I don’t do that!
(She hastily left, and the man went back to his motorbike. I’ve at some point heard that “Russian” is sometimes used as slang for prostitutes, but a college student with a boyfriend doesn’t really point in that direction!)
