My brother-in-law’s son is getting married, at an outdoor wedding hosted by his mother, my BIL’s ex-wife. She can be a difficult person. I am chatting with my BIL the day before he leaves.
Me: So are you excited?
BIL: Yeah, I’m just a little worried … (trails off)
Me: If the groom’s mother will behave?
BIL: Well, I was going to say, if the weather will be good. (Pause). Either way, it could be stormy!
