Unfiltered Story #242938

I work in a child care center where the teachers are suppose to sit and eat the center meals with the children in order to help the children learn to like new foods, or at least pretend we are eating and enjoying the food if it is something we don’t like. Today we had broccoli.
Coworker 1: “Eww ” ( goes on about how broccoli tastes like wet tree leaves)
Me:”we are supposed to show the kids how good it is I like broccoli”
Coworker 2:( teasing)”here is a tiny one for you”
Coworker 1: “no thanks, if I wanted to eat a leaf I would go grab one from the tree outside.”
Coworker 2:( teasing) “I’m going to shove it down your throat.”
