My boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend used to complain all the time that he ‘isn’t romantic enough’ because he rarely got her flowers (despite literally buying her gifts constantly and showering her with love and affection). I know this and I often jokingly pick on him for never getting me flowers. Well, I’ve been sick for the last few days and he works 12 hour shifts so I texted him before he got off work to please get me cough drops on his way home. He told me sure and that he’d be working late. He has a pretty bad memory so I expected him to forget two and a half hours later when he walked in the door. Boy was I wrong! He walked in with my cough drops and the biggest bouquet of mixed flowers I’ve ever seen! Easily three dozen flowers and six different types! Unfortunately, we don’t own a vase, so the flowers are in my coffee pot until we can get one! I love that man!
