Unfiltered Story #239446

I used to work part time as a waitress in a family owned Indian restaurant. Once I passed my drivers test the owner was comfortable enough with sending me on a few deliveries. This one particular delivery was phoned in and about half an hour later I was driving to the address. When I got there I knocked on the door but there was no answer. I tried a few more times before calling the number on the delivery. No answer either. Frustrated I called the owner and explained the situation and he told me just to drive back to the restaurant which I did.
An hour later I asked the owner about the delivery. Turns out the customer had decided to go the supermarket despite being told a delivery estimate for his food. I shook my head at the situation, another driver was sent back out.
