I’m getting some shots, which I’ve never been particularly good with. This time it’s intramuscular, which is even worse.

Me: *gritting my teeth and hissing under my breath* “Sunnuva w*** sunnuva w*** sunnuva w**** sunnuva w****…”
Nurse: “Okay, you’re all set. Are you okay?”
Me: *sigh* “Yeah…” *pause* “I mean NO! WEH! I want a lollipop!”
Nurse: “Would you actually like a lo–”
Me: *wide-eyed* “YES.”
