Unfiltered Story #234613

, , | Unfiltered | May 18, 2021

There are two cashiers, me and my coworker, it’s nearing the end of my shift and I need to take a break but there’s a rush so my light is off but I’m talking some customers to keep down the lines to help my coworker. (Keep in mind I wear a hijab)

I’m in the middle of finishing a transaction with a customer with a line of 3 people when this old, white man in my coworker’s line, which is behind me, asks “Excuse me, are you open? I didn’t know if I could ask because I didn’t know if you spoke English”
