Unfiltered Story #234170

So this isn’t my story, but my mother’s. She was 17, newly married, and had gone to the doctor for a pregnancy test. She called the next day for the results.

Mum: “Can you tell me what the result of my pregnancy test is?”

Receptionist: “No, you’re not pregnant.”

Mum: “Are you sure?”

Receptionist: [now yelling through the phone] “YOU ARE NOT PREGNANT! YOU WILL NEVER BE PREGNANT! YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A BABY!”

(She hung up and cried. Thankfully, she sought a second opinion. She was pregnant with me at the time (and went on to have 3 more). She never attended that clinic again.)
