We live in a very small town. I work in a Customer Service Centre. We deal with various services for the Local Council including a Bus Pass for Disabled customers.

Management forward me an email regarding an elderly lady who had not received her bus pass. None of the systems showed the bus pass had been renewed. So I rang the customer.

‘I had to come in a taxi to your office!!! It cost me £30’ she said

The ironic thing is that I live on the other side of the street to her. And we live in the same postcode as the office. It does not cost £30 for a taxi.
