Me: *answering phone* Front Desk, this is [My Name], how can I help you?
Guest: Yeah, can I have some towels sent to my room?
Me: Sure! How many did you need?
Guest: A few.
Me: …and how many is ‘a few’?
Guest: You know, like a couple!
Me: So….. three?
Guest: Sure, I guess.
(‘A few’ is not a quantity – I want a number so when I get there you don’t send me back for more!)
