Unfiltered Story #232997
A while ago our company was holding a promotion on all of our collectibles, you would get a discount on everything you could fit in the bag. Everyone was having a lot of fun with this, and employees would often help balance things. One man was in line watching as a tower was built up from one bag, nearly a foot taller than the bag itself. I could almost see the lightbulb light up above his head and he ran off to the other side of the store. When he came back he had our largest bean bag in the shape of a popular children’s game character in his arms, nearly as big as him. He put it on the counter, took one of the bags, and confidently put it over one of the ears of the bean bag. He gave us such a good laugh that we went ahead with the discount. My district leader used that story to push the promotion the entire duration it lasted.
