Unfiltered Story #232995

(I used to work at a clothing shop when this happened several years ago. I was also slightly overweight. Not much, but definitely noticeable. I am helping two young ladies.)

Me: Here you go, here’s your receipt.

Customer #1: Thank you. (starts giggling) Do you… (giggles again)

Me: What?

Customer #1: Have you…ever worked in FatFace?

(FatFace is a British store.)

Me: No. Why?

Customer #1: Well…

(They both start giggling with clenched teeth and as they leave, they finally burst out laughing. The first one even points at me as they leave. I felt very upset that day.)
