I’m at the front desk, which is situated in a living room type area. Residents hang out here every day. It is a public space.

Resident 1: *having loud conversation on phone about private things involving toilet matters*
Resident 2: *laughs at him*
Resident 1: *becomes irate and yells at other resident*
Me: [Resident 1], in the future, please take calls like that in your room.
Resident 1: Oh shut the [swear word] up! I wasn’t even loud!
Voice from down the hallway behind us: Yes, you were!
Resident 1: *huffs loudly, but shuts up and stomps off to his room*
Rest of us: *laughing*
