Ryan Reynolds once quipped that Los Angelinos were so afraid of gluten he swore he could have held up a bank with a bagel. And there lies a problem faced by many people who genuinely suffer from gluten-intolerance… gluten ignorance!

Today is Celiac Awareness Day, and so for those Celiac sufferers out there who are given a bad name by those in the middle of a fad diet or those who lie about allergies, or just have to deal with people who think you can just “scrape the gluten off,” this day is for you!
