Unfiltered Story #229454
I work at a well-known chain restaurant that primarily sells chicken, and prides itself on not selling beef products. Our menu is relatively well known. I am taking orders one day when a guest walks up to me.
Guest: Hello, I would like one Hamburger.
Me: I’m sorry ma’m, we do not sell hamburgers. We have chicken sandwich’s, as well as nuggets and strips, and we also serve salads.
Customer: Oh, ok. Then I’ll take a fish platter.
Me: I’m sorry ma’m, but we only serve what is on our menu.
After 10 minutes of explaining to her what we do and do not sell, I finally get her order.
Me: Is there anything else I can get for you?
Customer: Yes, I would like a discount on my food. You wasted a lot of my time!
