Here’s the deal: I work at an ice cream shop. We have a daily special that changes, well, daily! 99.9% of our customers know this, and accept this. But apparently, this one did not, which gives us the exchange below.

Customer: “Can I have the Friday special?”
Me: “No, sorry”
Customer: “WHAT! Why ?!”
Me: “Ma’am, today is Sunday.”
