Unfiltered Story #221326

I’m the customer in this story. Today my wife and I went to a cafe for lunch in a town I visit for work once or twice a year. The server stopped by and took our drink order, then brought our drinks. She started to ask if we were ready to order and realized we didn’t have any menus. A few minutes later she brings the menus, starts to hand them to us, and then comes out with this jewel as she is handing me my menu:
Waitress – “So, are we ready to order?”
Me – “No, I think we’re going to need a few minutes.”
