Unfiltered Story #219127

My Dad and I are waiting in the checkout line at Wal-Mart. There’s a computer on a wall that tells you what register to go to. It’s our turn to be told what register to go to, until a heavily accented man tries to push his way through, saying, “Can I get through?”

My Dad’s response is, “Sir, we haven’t been told where to go yet.”

The guy continues to try and push his way through, with his cart. “Can I get through?”

“Sir, we haven’t been told what register to go to yet. Please wait your turn.”

I still don’t think the guy got it, but the computer finally tells us where to go. As soon as we leave to go there, the guy doesn’t wait to be told what register to go to; he immediately goes to another register. I don’t know what he was trying to accomplish, but I guess he didn’t understand to wait to be told what register to go to.
