I work as a cashier for a retail store. A customer hands me a stuffed animal which I ring up. It rings up for $15.
She claims that it was only supposed to be $7. I am very familiar with most pricing in the store without even looking it up.
I begin to explain that our $7 stuffed animals are usually medium sized and the animal she had is much too large.
She insists that the sign said $7. I again say that it was probably a sign for a puppy or panda etc. She is adamant that I am wrong.
Customer: It’s $7, the sign said so. It said $7 white tiger. White tigers are $7
Me: But Ma’am, this is a shark…

The customer just looked at me and walked away
