I work at a well-known home improvement store. One day I was walking down the main aisle when a customer had stopped me to ask where he can find hinges for his kitchen cabinet.

Customer: Hey, I’m looking for this (shows a hinge for kitchen cabinets). Do you know where it is?

Me: That’s in aisle five, half way down the middle on your right side.

Customer: No it should be here (standing beside aisle 32).

Me: That’s the plumbing aisle sir. Those are in aisle five with the rest of the kitchen cabinets.

Customer: No I know it’s here, this is where I got it the last time.

Me: Are you sure? That’s for a kitchen cabinet, right?

Customer: Yes! That’s what I’m looking for! (I can see that he’s starting to become frustrated)

Me: Yeah, that’s in aisle five.

Customer: No, no, no. I know for a fact that it’s here.

Me: Okay then. (I walk away)

I later see him coming from aisle five with a hand full of the hinges.
