I join the lunch table where my colleague who deals with our survey scores is telling a few stories about ridiculous complainers he has dealt with on this day.

Customer comment: I was appalled that the agent was Scottish, when I bought my policy I couldn’t understand a word they were saying.

(note we are from a very southern city, none of our agents are scottish, even though we do have a branch of our company in Scotland, they do not take calls)

Colleague: So I had to do some investigation on this one, turns out the customer bought their policy online.

I just totally cracked. It wasn’t *that* funny but for some reason this just took the biscuit on an otherwise serious day.
