(I work in a used video store. We mark down DVDs that have been in the system a while with a price sticker over the old price. Often enough, people will pick up $10-$15 DVDs, decide they don’t want it, and set it down in a completely different area. At least twice a day, this happens)

Customer: *holding up a used DVD with the $10 price in plain view no changes to it* “I found this in the $2 bin. Does that mean it’s $2?”

Me: “no sir/ma’am, another customer must have placed it there by mistake….”
