I’m the night manager at a pizza delivery place. Our crusts are hand tossed or premade thin crust. This call came in tonight. After our normal greeting, the conversation went like this:
Customer: Can you do half and half?
Me: Yes, ma’am.
Customer: Ok, give me half original crust with pepperoni and onion, and half thin crust with pepperoni and sausage.
Me: I’m sorry, that won’t really work. You can’t split one crust. You have to choose one.
Customer: But you said you can do half and half!
Me: We can do half and half toppings, not dough.
Customer: Ok. I guess.
