Unfiltered Story #216749

This happened a number of years ago,but has still stuck with me as one of those moments that just should not happen in reality. The liquor store in question was right next to a petrol station, but even before you walk into the store it is blindingly obvious that we sell booze and nothing else.

Bloke: walks into the store and asks me ‘do you sell hubcaps?’

Me: theatrically look over both my shoulders at dozens of bottles of sprits and then look him straight in the eye and say ‘nah mate, we mainly sell alcohol’

Bloke: ‘oh ok’ walks out the store without a word.
