Me: *phone rings* Thank you for calling [Furniture Store], how can I help you?
Customer: What do you have on your floor?
Me: *resisting the urge to just say furniture* There’s several things out. Did you have something specific you were looking for?
Customer: Can you tell me what’s on the floor?
Me: *still resisting the urge to just say furniture* We have many pieces of furniture out right now. There’s a variety of couches, dining sets, chairs, etc. Did you have something specific you were looking for?
Customer: *getting slightly angry* Look, if you can’t tell me what’s on the floor, I’ll go to another store.
Me: Let me transfer you to a sales person
