(I’m working in the vitamin aisle when a customer comes in to browse. After a few minutes of silently looking he grabs a bottle of a particular supplement and turns to me to ask a question)
Customer: Excuse me miss, have you taken any of these?
Me: No
Customer: Well I have been taken these for a while. They’ve really helped me when….*Proceeds to give me the long and gory details of his bowel and prostate issues*….You should really take these they might help you. Have a goodnight!
Me: *Unsure of how to respond* You too.
(If by any chance you are reading this I’m glad you are feeling better. But maybe, you should find a healthier and more consenting outlet to share your story, and maybe not be so graphic)
