We sell remedies for pets online and the following is a call I’ve just had this morning.
Customer: “Are you capable of answering questions?”
Me: “Yes that’s why we are here, how can I help you?”
Customer: “The label says to administer twice daily and the dosage is 1 drop for every 2lbs of body weight. So is that 2 lbs divided by 2 and then multiplied by 1?”
Me: “How much does your cat weigh?”
Customer: “THAT IS NOT WHAT I ASKED YOU JUST ANSWER MY QUESTION”
Me: “Ok maam, I’m only asking so I can give you the correct dosage information to best serve you and your cat”
Customer: “8lbs ok!”
Me: “The dosage would be 4 drops twice a day”
Customer: “OK SO YOU DIDN’T NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH MY CAT WEIGHS BECAUSE I WAS RIGHT! 16 DROPS IN TOTAL A DAY!”
Me: “No, maam, 4 drops twice per day is a total of 8 drops in total per day”
Customer: “Oh. Well thank you for your help” *click*
