The day after Easter, the Beer Store my Dad works out was getting constant calls of the same question, “Are you open?” My Dad got so sick of it, he just stopped answering the phone.
The day before Easter, my Dad AND his boss were working, and there were continuous calls of, “Will you be closed tomorrow?” There were even people coming in, asking the same thing and questioning the sign up on the window, which said that the store was going to be closed on Easter.
After all the calls, the boss just gave up and UNPLUGGED the phone. My Dad asked, “What’d you do that for?”
“I’m getting so sick of the phone ringing with the SAME DAMN QUESTION!”
(I guess that WOULD be a little tiring…)
