Caller *after ten seconds of silence and I’m just about to hang up*: Hello, do you carry (brand) cabinets?
Me: Yes, sir, we do.
Caller: Okay, now, in your showroom, do you have (brand) cabinets in (color)?
Me *I don’t know, as I’m still new*: Let me transfer you to a designer, sir, who would be able to help, one moment please.
Caller: Okay, thank you.
(I can overhear the designer)
Designer: Good afternoon this is (name) how may I help you? … Yes, we do carry that brand, but we do not have that color in our showroom, we only have samples – okay, okay, sir, thank you for calling *hangs up*
(Not five minutes later, the same person calls.)
Me: Good afternoon, thank you for calling (company name) how may I help you?
Caller *after another ten seconds of silence*: Hello, do you carry (brand) cabinets?
Me: Uh, sir, you just called us not five minutes ago.

Caller *suddenly happy*: Okay, cool, thanks!
