My Dad wears hearing aids, so he’s hard of hearing. He also works at a Beer Store. A customer came in and said his order, but my Dad couldn’t hear him. Dad apologized, saying that he’s hard of hearing and wears hearing aids. The reply the man gave him, “It’s not my problem you wear hearing aids.”
I didn’t get the rest of the story, but basically, my Dad said that he regrets arguing with the customer… Don’t worry, he didn’t get fired!
