The gents’ toiled in our theatre is in process of redecoration: the urinals are still in use, but the cubicle is being worked on: the walls are newly tiled, but there is currently no cistern there – or door. So there was tape across the open doorway, with a notice directlng users to the Unisex toilet next door. The seat was taped down with gaffa tape, and there was a big X of coloured tape on top of it.
At some point yesterday, we found that somebody had pushed through the tape in the doorway, pulled the seat open, and used it.
