Our store has a new customer rewards program that is confusing for some users at first.
Customer: I printed off a picture of the website. I logged in and it won’t let me add this coupon to my account.
Me: This printout actually shows you did not log in while viewing our available coupons. It says “Sign In” here in the corner and has a place for your username and password.
Customer: I did sign in!
Me: Okay, let’s sign into your account now and see what went wrong.
I take the customer over to a computer we have in the store and they log in.
Customer: See! I am logged in and I still can’t do it!
Me: Yes, and now that you’re logged there is an extra button at the bottom of each coupon you can click to add it to your account.
Customer: Oh. Guess I really wasn’t logged in.
