Caller: (sounding like she’s a long way off) Hi, can I speak – (garbled)
Me: (I think I got what she wanted, but I couldn’t be sure.) I’m sorry, could you repeat that?
Caller: (random noises, and some static)
Me: Um, I’m sorry, one more time?
Caller: (more of the same)
Me: Ma’am, forgive me, but you’re breaking up –
Caller: (perfectly clear now) Sorry about that, I had the volume down, can I please speak to (name?)
Me: Of course, one moment please…
