We had a coupon for a free pizza, and we ran out so had to give people a different coupon for a different day.

Me: “I’m sorry but we are out of that pizza, if you would like to come back you could do so with this coupon a different day.”

Customer: “When can I use this?”

Me: “Any day but today because we are out of that pizza at the moment.”

Customer: *Tries to hand me the coupon* “Ok, I would like to use this today.”

Me: “I’m sorry you can’t use that today because like I said we are out of that pizza at the moment.”

Customer: “This is ridiculous.” *leaves*

2 Hours later another customer walks in and tells me his friend gave him a coupon he got today, *hands me the coupon.

Me: “Sir like I told your friend, you can not use that coupon today.”

Customer: “Oh”

Me: “…”
