Unfiltered Story #200636

I work in an organic store in Germany. If people need a bag, they have to buy recycled paper bags.

So an american tourist comes in, takes some beer bottles and proceeds to pay at the register. He then asks for a bag. As I hand him the bag, he takes it, looks at it in utter shock, turns it around for some time and yells at me:
“What is this shit??? A paper bag? I want a plastic bag!”

I say calmly: “Sorry, but we only sell paper bags, as it’s better for the environment and – …”

He disrupts me yelling again: “Paper bags?? PAPER BAGS?? WHAT THE F**K?”

He then starts to fast pace trough the store and touches all the paper bags and cornstarch bags we sell in his hands, trying to find a plastic bag. He then throws his hands in the air yelling: “PAPER BAGS! What the hell is wrong with you people?? You fucking germans!!”
