(I work in the deli at a chain grocery store and a woman approaches the counter to order some deli meats)
Me: What can I get for you today?
Guest: Yeah, what’s the difference between the turkey and the ham?
Me: *caught off guard and trying not to sound condescending* Uh…well one is turkey and one is ham?
Guest: *Stares blankly*
Me: *politely* Like, the turkey comes from a turkey and the ham comes from a pig.
Guest: Well, you don’t have to be so rude about it.
Me: *screams internally*
