I work at the local grocery store. For some reason, people think they can call the store and we will give them the phone number for any business they’re looking to contact. This is one of those phone calls.
Me: “thank you for calling [store], how can I help you?”
Customer: “I need the phone number for the Red Diamond.”
(I have no clue what the Red Diamond is)
Me: “I am sorry ma’am, we do not have their phone number. I do not know what this is.”
Customer: “Well I have been told they recently changed names, what’s their new name?”
Me: “I’m sorry ma’am but I do not know what place you’re referring to.”
Customer: “Well…..alright then…..” *hangs up*
