Me: Hi, do you have a Vic card?
Customer: I have the phone number.
Me: Alright what’s the number?
(Gives me the number but not the area code, which is required.)
Me: Sorry sir, I need the area code as well.
Customer: Then I don’t have a Vic card.
(Starts playing on his phone, ignoring what I say next.)
Me: 910.. 704… 336… 919…?
(Customer then proceeds to walk out the store leaving his groceries, which consisted of about $100 worth of wine and other household necessities!)
