Unfiltered Story #194971
I am a cashier and this happens far too much. When the customer pays with a credit card, it requires a signature for confirmation. On the signature screen, there’s a green button and a red button. Green, obviously to accept the signature and red, to erase the signature. Customers often sign their name, then ask this.
Customer: *with a perplexed look after they’ve signed their name on a credit transaction* Do I press the green button or the red button?
Me: *face palm, thinking “what do you think?” Green to accept, red to cancel your payment!
