(I’m at a store where everything is priced at $1, and there are signs EVERYWHERE clearly indicating this fact. I get to the register and there is one person in front of me.)
Customer at register to the cashier: Could you do a price check on this for me please?
(I could not wipe the “You’re an idiot” look off my face fast enough. She stomped out in a huff after paying.)
