(We have a number which is one digit off of a local pizza place, so we get a lot of wrong numbers)

Me: Hello, my name is ****** How can I help you?

Attempted Customer: Hi, I’d like to order a large special pizza with extra mushrooms.

Me: Sorry, bud, you’ve got the wrong number. The last four digits of their phone number is *222 and this is *227

Attempted Customer: Oh, thanks.

30 seconds later the phone rings again

Me: Hello this is ****** how can I help you?

Attempted Customer: Hi, is this ******* Pizza?

Me: No, this is the same wrong number you just called, change the last digit from a 7 to a 2 and you’ll get them.

Attempted Customer: Aww man I’m sorry. Hangs up.

Phone rings again immediately

Me: ******* Pizza how can I help you?

Attempted Customer: Yeah I’d like a large special with extra mushrooms.

Me: Sure thing, pick it up in 45 minutes.
