Customer: Dagwood club. Medium Combo.
Me: … One Dagwood with a regular combo coming up! That will be $7.49 for you.
Customer: $7.49?! I’m looking at the board right now and that does NOT match the price posted.
*thinking he hasn’t added it up correctly, I page up thought the order and start to list the prices for him*
Customer: I’M NOT FUCKING BLIND
me: I uh.. *legitimate confusion*
Customer: YOU’RE TRYING TO RIP ME OFF! I BET YOUR POCKETING THE EXTRA AREN’T YOU? GOT A RIGHT LITTLE BUSINESS DON’T YOU?
Me: I’m sorry sir, I’m not trying to rip you off, this is simply what your order comes up to.
Customer: LET ME SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER. RIGHT NOW.
me: *regretfully* I am the manager on duty..
Customer: There is NO WAY. *continues to go on a screaming tirade, while other customers take notice, he’s getting quite red in the face, Yada yada, and then it dons on me..
Me: Sales tax.

Customer is embarrassed and now very pale.
