About once or twice a month when the crane games at my workplace gets filled, I spend a dollar or two getting a plush (or a few).
At the year’s end, I’ve accumulated three shopping bags full of various size plush. One bag goes to a Charity who makes sure a Child has a present under the Christmas tree. One bag goes to the local PD, to distribute to those whose Children are going through a rough step in their lives, and the other one goes to the local EMS for them to say “Santa” stopped by the poor kids in the ICU to make the healing process *just* a bit easier.
What may be a cheap thrill for me, will be a Guardian Angel to someone for a good deal of their lives.
