Unfiltered Story #18456

A couple of friends and I were on a train to a medical student conference. We had to change trains at a station because our destination was in a little town that the fast trains didn’t stop at, We ended up chatting to another girl who was going to the same town. When we got off at the change stop, we discovered that the connecting train had been cancelled.

The girl we had been chatting too offered to share a taxi with us, as the next train wasn’t for another hour. We chatted and got to know one another in the taxi, and when we got to the destination, she insisted on paying the entire taxi fair because we were students, telling us “If you’re in a similar situation in the future when you’re qualified doctors, make sure you do the same for other students!”
