Unfiltered Story #18447

We have a yearly road trip (motorcycles), where we meet up in stages, and ride up to the first overnight spot. Since the first meet up was 30 miles into town and the second meet up was ahead, another 30 miles, I told my friends I would meet them halfway to the meet up place.

I got the text telling me the group had left the first stage and to be ready – so I got on my bike and headed up to the road, where I could see my friends pass and blend in with them.

I ended up waiting for about 20 minutes, on the side of the road. Three different bike riders stopped to ask if I was okay – I was fine, but it felt so nice that perfect strangers checked on me!

I saw the group of my friends pass, and I took off, catching up with them. It was a great way to start a road trip – knowing that people care enough to stop and ask if help is needed. It was a great weekend – rode about 200 miles total, each day!
