A young man went in to our restaurant to order some chicken nuggets and a burger. After seeing the kitchen crew prepare his food he said, “I’m sorry, but he wasn’t wearing any gloves, I would like it remade”. I turned to look and sure enough the crew member wasn’t wearing any gloves, but he used a spatula to scoop the nuggets into the box, without touching anything with his bare hands, except for the lid, which he closed down. Regardless, we gave him a fresh order anyway. He wasn’t rude about it and there wasn’t any problem. I handed him the nuggets and he replied “I’m sorry, its just a health concern for me” To which I had to restrain myself from saying, “If you’re so concerned about your health, why are you eating in this establishment?”
