A customer has come in to buy new clothes cause she’s pregnant. My co-worker processes the transaction.
Co-Worker: Just insert your card when ready.
Customer: Inserting’s what got me into this mess.
Me: *trying not to burst out laughing*
(I asked my co-worker the next day and apparently she’d didn’t hear the customer’s response, and was disappointed she hadn’t heard it.)
