Unfiltered Story #178358

(So I work in a well named department store, and course I tend to answer phone calls a lot. So, I get really rude people when I answer it in a polite voice.)

Me: Small Appliances, can I help you?

Customer: EXCUSE ME, WHAT DID YOU SAY!??

Me: Uh, Small appliances?

(It’s like, I answer the phone, and say what department they’re transferring to, and I say something that they think its offensive in their sooty tone of voice. Needles to say, the customer wasn’t really pleasant anyways. )
