Unfiltered Story #142806

Dude: “Excuse me do you have any rooms left?”

Me: “No we don’t.”

Dude: *rolling eyes* “Why not?! I know you all just have some rooms, you just don’t wanna give it to me because…because you think I’ll be loud! I won’t! I’ll be quiet!”

(He rants about it for a bit, and then another man comes in behind him.)

Me: “Sir, I don’t think you’ll be um, loud, I just don’t have any MORE to sell.”

Man: *coming up* “Excuse me. Do you have any rooms?”

Dude: “Hey, I was here first, no cuts!”

Me: *sigh* “No we don’t, like I was just saying to this other guy.”

Man: “Oh, ok! No problem! I KNOW–” *glances at dude* “it’s not your fault and that you’re a business, and sometimes this happens! I’ll just go off and find another hotel to ask!”

Dude: *storms off*

(After I picked my jaw off the floor, I asked the man if he had worked in a hotel before and he said yes. I wish I could give him a room! Instead I offered coffee as thanks for chasing that annoying dude out, and he said no and left. Awesome!)
